Job Opportunities HEALTH LAW PROGRAM STAFF ATTORNEY The Health Law Program of Texas Legal Services Center provides free legal services to qualified applicants regarding health care issues. The Health Law Program is currently seeking a full time Staff Attorney. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing advice and counseling, brief services, and more extensive services to clients with health law issues; using focused representation to achieve systemic impact in health care; conducting training; working on special projects and conducting intake as needed. DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR Texas Legal Services Center is seeking an experienced grant writer to identify and help secure public and private sector grants. Texas Legal Services Center is a non-profit law firm that provides statewide advocacy and services for low-income Texans. Our primary focus has been in the provision of civil Legal Aid to seniors and persons with disabilities through telephone counseling and advice. TLSC attorneys also represent low-income client groups in matters of statewide importance including public benefits, medical services, housing, and access to utility service. Applicants should have a minimum of five years’ experience in writing foundation grants and demonstrate success in that field. The Development Director will further be responsible for ensuring that all grants are properly recorded, monitored, and that grant reports are timely filed.
