The Legal Hotline for Texans

Receive legal advice from a TLSC attorney—all for free and over the phone. We offer counsel and advice on Medicaid, Medicare, and long-term care.

The Legal Hotline for Texans can also help callers aged 60 or older navigate consumer issues and estate planning, including debt collection, advance directives, powers of attorney, wills, and Transfer on Death Deeds.

This program provides counsel and advice only—we cannot draft legal documents, engage in negotiations with third parties, or go to court.

ELIGIBILITY

You must be 60 or older residing in Texas to receive advice on estate planning or consumer issues. All callers may receive advice on Medicaid, Medicare, and long-term care.
